They did awesome........The first race was here in Center City at the Celebration of the Lakes. Jordan and A.J. raced the sleds. Jordan raced "Modzilla". It was the first time out for "Modzilla" since 2005. They had to dust the cobwebs off, but she was ready to be fired up. He had a great day. It was quite the ride. The second race was in Rush City on February 10th. First and second picture Jordan on "Modzilla" with a run of 171.6 a record in 1000' at Rush Lake. Third picture Jordan in the rear engine sled getting last minutes instructions from DAD! Fourth picture Jordan racing Wayne Rue's Billet Mod. The article about Jordan was in the Cambridge Newspaper. He did 171.6 mph in 1000 feet.
* * * * * * * 2005 Snowmobile Race Season Lynn and the guys had an awesome snowmobile race season. Jordan started off racing in the 500 class and then moved up to the 1000 class this year. His first time out with the 1000 he ran 160 mph in 1000 feet. He was very excited. Aaron (A.J.) also did some speed run racing this winter. But, the ultimate highlight was the "Modzilla" the twin engine sled. The last race of the season the crew ventured to North Bay, Ontario, Canada on March 12th. The goal was to beat Marv Jorgenson "Jaws Performance" record of 190 mph in a quarter mile. After being snowed out on the first day the guys put their master minds together for Sunday's racing. Once the track was cleared of the 5" of fresh snow that fell during the night the crew knew what they had to do. First they started off with a couple warm up runs. The fourth pass out they hit the mark.........192.2 mph in 1320 feet. On their 5th and final pass of the day after breaking the drive belt at half track they still managed to go 190 mph. Way to go guys!!!!!!! For more about the North Bay race and pictures of "Modzilla" and the gang, you can check out www.radarruns.com.
